- Validation of AI models for identifying breast cancer in screening mammograms
Tien was born and raised in Vung Tau City, Vietnam. She came to Kelowna for an undergraduate degree at UBC Okanagan. She recently shows interests in Data Science, specifically in Data Analytics and Machine Learning with medical applications. She is excited to join Early Detection group this summer to work on the project validation of AI models for identifying breast cancer in screening mammograms as a recipient of SSRP. In her freetime, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, baking, and painting.
